Spencer has been working in the media for most of his life. He has over a decade of professional broadcasting experience, working on radio stations in the UK and across Europe. He has built up a reputation for increasing audience figures on the stations he works on, and has a proven track record in establishing and developing radio formats. Away from the microphone, he is an experienced programme controller, who has also run production departments, as well as working on branding and marketing exercises for radio groups. He is passionate about the media, and committed to making the best possible programmes available. Spencer is in overall charge of ERN, and is responsible for developing and expanding the project, and its’ programmes.
ERN News Editor Martin Jefferies is a trained journalist with over 5 years’ experience of working in a cutting edge news room. He has worked for radio groups across the UK and now works at the UK’s biggest independent media company.
Martin is responsible for delivering a news service to the subscriber stations, and is closely involved in the expansion of our news capabilities.
Gavin has single handedly built and developed one of the biggest English language radio networks in Spain. His technical experience has been put to good use, developing new technologies to deliver the programme, whilst also enhancing the audience experience with technologies like audio on demand. He is also a driving force behind the expansion of the ERN project, and is heavily involved in its’ future expansion. Gavin over-see’s the delivery of the programme, and exploring and developing new technologies, to ensure that it remains an up to date, and from a technical point, competitive and reliable.
Danny is an experienced radio presenter, working on a number of stations across Spain. He has also made a name for himself with his club DJ skills, landing residencies in some of the biggest nightclubs in Lanzarote.
Danny started on the team as the host of eXpat Party, our brand new programme, which he hosted for the majority of 2011, he has since become one of the main team members behind the scenes in ERN, as well as providing production and programming support.
Katherine Seton is currently in her third year of study at the University of Birmingham. Alongside her degree course, in English Literature and Theatre Studies, she is Co-Head of News at the university radio station Burn FM. Besides Burn FM and The eXpat Chart, she takes part in many other activities such as presenting on GTV student television and volunteering for the Birmingham Hippodrome and AIESEC in the foreign Exchange programme. Katherine enjoys watching football and movies. She loves the outdoors and travelling overseas.
